Business Development Manager
We are looking for a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to join Kahf's growing team. In this role you will identify new growth opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and help us expand Kahf's halal digital products to markets across the globe. You will work directly with leadership to shape commercial strategy and build the relationships that will define Kahf's next chapter.
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and close strategic partnerships with organisations aligned with Kahf's mission and values.
- Research and evaluate new markets, verticals, and revenue opportunities across Kahf's product suite.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective partners and clients using CRM tools.
- Represent Kahf at industry events, conferences, and community gatherings.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to align business opportunities with product roadmap.
- Negotiate and execute partnership agreements, MOUs, and commercial contracts.
- Track and report on key business development KPIs — pipeline value, conversion rate, and revenue impact.
- Develop deep knowledge of Kahf's products, competitive landscape, and Muslim digital market dynamics.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships — preferably in a technology or SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and partnership targets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic or Turkish is a significant advantage.
- Understanding of the Muslim consumer market and sensitivity to Islamic values in a commercial context.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience working at a mission-driven or Islamic-focused organisation.
- Network within Muslim business communities in the UK, Turkey, Malaysia, or Bangladesh.
- Familiarity with halal technology standards and the ethical-tech space.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary aligned with experience and market rates.
- Flexible remote work arrangement with optional on-site access in Istanbul.
- Work that directly benefits the Muslim ummah worldwide.
- Collaborative, diverse team spanning multiple countries and cultures.
- Annual learning and development budget.
- Transparent, values-driven company culture with no hidden agendas.
