Sales Lead at Kahf Ads

Full-time Remote / On-site Istanbul, Turkey

Kahf Ads is our ethical advertising platform — a way to fund the Kahf mission while only serving ads that align with Islamic values. We are looking for an experienced Sales Lead to build the Kahf Ads pipeline from the ground up. You will prospect and close deals with halal-focused brands, manage advertiser relationships, and help define the standards that make Kahf Ads a trusted platform for Muslim audiences globally.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close advertising deals with halal-aligned brands, businesses, and organisations targeting Muslim audiences.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools, tracking leads from first contact through to signed agreement.
  • Develop Kahf Ads pitch materials, case studies, and rate cards in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Establish and enforce ethical advertising guidelines — ensuring every ad placement meets Kahf's halal standards.
  • Own advertiser relationships post-sale: onboarding, reporting, renewals, and upsell opportunities.
  • Work with the product and engineering teams to communicate advertiser needs and influence the Kahf Ads roadmap.
  • Represent Kahf Ads at relevant industry events, Islamic trade fairs, and Muslim business conferences.
  • Report on pipeline, revenue, and advertiser performance metrics to leadership on a regular cadence.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in digital advertising sales, media sales, or B2B sales at a technology company.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a pipeline independently and close deals with both SMB and enterprise clients.
  • Deep familiarity with the digital advertising landscape: CPM, CPC, programmatic, direct buys, and native advertising.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in Arabic or Turkish is a significant advantage.
  • Understanding of Islamic commercial ethics and the ability to apply halal standards in an advertising context.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

  • Existing network within halal brands, Islamic finance, Muslim-focused e-commerce, or ethical product companies.
  • Experience running advertising sales for a media platform, publisher, or app network.
  • Familiarity with advertising compliance regulations across multiple markets (UK, EU, Malaysia, GCC).
  • Background in performance marketing or ad operations to complement the sales skillset.
